About me
Here, you'll get a glimpse into who I am, my approach to therapy, and the professional qualifications and experiences I bring to my practice
What is most important to me, in our work
I want to create a space for my patients where we can work together to develop individual solutions tailored to each person's unique life situation.
We'll make use of the resources, strengths, and skills that you already have, and look for ways to further develop, "re-awaken", or solidify them. In order to achieve this, I work with a wide range of methods and select the appropriate therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of my patients.
What's particularly important to me is gender-sensitive, culture-sensitive, and anti-racism work in the therapeutic space. I am convinced that it is important to consider the role of gender/gender identity, cultural influences, and potentially stress caused by racism in our society if we want to understand the development and maintenance of mental burden and disorders.
Through regular seminars, I strive to learn and offer my patients a safe, inclusive, and discrimination-free therapeutic space.
All people are explicitly welcome, regardless of their background, sexuality, religion, gender identity, age range, ethnic background, skin color, as well as people with disabilities, those doing sex work, or those who feel discriminated against or overlooked by the healthcare system in other ways.
In therapy, I want to understand your background, your values, and you as a person and respect that, instead of imposing my own ideas on you.
The therapeutic space should be an environment where you feel safe, supported, and valued. Only from this security can we dare to take new paths together, question old ones, and discuss painful, uncomfortable, and self-critical topics.
I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Nina Löwen
